Helping those that can't help themselves.
Today is Martin Luther King, Jr Day. The kids have school off, most of the government has the day off as well. I however will go to work today, just to help others.
There are many quotes out there telling us to help others, the bible has "Teach a Man to Fish...", "The generous will prosper...", "Use your god given gifts to help others", and thousands more.
MLK, Jr said it several times too and I believe it to be a question we should ask ourselves every morning, noon and night.
My daughter is having a birthday beginning of next month, we asked her what kind of party she wanted to have, her response was impressive to say the least, "I want to have a Feed My Starving Children party". Damn!!!
She is turning 11!!! If more people would think like her, the future would be unbelievably different.
So, in keeping with my last couple blogs, lets start asking ourselves this question more often.
"What are you doing for others?"
If so many more of us would start asking this question, and finding answers, every community would move towards a kinder, gentler and friendlier place don't you think?
I promise my next few blogs will be more chiropractic related and informative, but with the new year, these just seemed like good topics to start with.
Love you all.
